Looking back on 2012

What a year 2012 has been!

As a parent, I would have to say that this year has been one of the most challenging for me. I have learnt a lot from these challenges and I have high hopes that 2013 will be a wonderful year full of exciting opportunities, adventures and of course good books!

So, on this last day of 2012 I thought I would look back on Honey Bee Books and share some of my favourites posts of 2012 with you.

The all time most popular post

The post with the most hits during this year is our ever popular Storytelling Jar. Such a simple idea and I have found this jar to be a great source of wonderful imaginative adventures with my children.

The most popular post from 2012

I am a little surprised that the most popular post from 2012 was The Bouncy Egg Experiment that we did during science week. This was such a great activity to introduce James to the basics of conducting an experiment.

My personal favourite post from 2012

Celebrating my daughter's second birthday with an apple themed party was so much fun and it is my favourite post from 2012. I loved making the individual apple piƱata for her and her friends and watching them all rip them open.

Some of our favourite books we read during 2012

We have read so many awesome books this year and these were some of our favourites that I featured here on Honey Bee Books:

We have achieved a great deal in 2012 and I am looking forward to sharing many more of our reading adventures with you during 2013.

Happy New Year!
