Will you be giving a book on International Book Giving Day?
International Book Giving Day is on 14th February and aims to increase children's access to books as well as boost their enthusiasm for reading. What a fabulous idea!
Why not join in the fun and give a book to a child on International Book Giving Day? Here are a few ideas that might help get you started:
- give a book to a friend or family member.
- leave a book in a waiting room
- donate a book to a school, hospital, shelter or organisation that distributes books to children
When giving a book, you might want to include one of the beautiful bookplates that have been designed for International Book Giving Day.
Last year I gave a new book to my children and also donated some books to my Son's preschool. This year I also hope to do something a little different. I will share our book giving activities after 14th Feb.
